Angella Choe is a Los Angeles and New York based director and photographer whose work lives at the intersection of sport, culture, fashion, and human truth. Her images and films feel visceral yet intimate, cinematic yet deeply personal. At the core of her work is storytelling rooted in artful perspective, emotion, and the joy of movement, the energy of bodies, ideas, and identities in motion.

Raised with a deep appreciation for storytelling and creative expression, she amplifies personal narratives and celebrates self-expression with honesty and scale. Whether documenting athletes, artists, cultural figures, or the people in her life, her lens honors both strength and softness, ambition and vulnerability.

Her work spans across clients such as CHANEL, Land Rover, Netflix, Nike, adidas, Oakley and TikTok, has been published by The Los Angeles Times, Variety, Interview Magazine, I-D, Vogue, SSENSE and the BOF. She has also contributed as a panelist and guest speaker for Women's International Month at Soho House, USC Film Festival and the American Photographic Artists (APA) LA Women in Photography 2026: Expanding Vision.

She is also the founder of ANGL Studio — 360 creative and production agency providing clients with photography, creative direction, consulting, casting, styling, motion and production services.
